im pretty sure all that stuff is illegal here. i remember a news bit a few months ago where the main thing was license plate covers. the only real legal ones are available from the ministry of transport. anything that you do to alter the plate is illegal also. (although, ive never heard of anyone being ticketed for any illegal covers or alterations)

I think I'm gonna try this photoblocker stuff.
What have I got to lose? Couple bucks...big deal.
Besides, if it works, great. If not, I would have gotten the ticket anyways.

well in san francisco they don't snap the rear of the car, just the fronts. i believe they're legal at least in california. i believe they were originally developed so when you take pictures to sell your car online or something, your plates wouldn't get shown. i'm assuming for people who don't know how to edit their pictures

Razz1,
I hope that comment wasnt' aimed at me.
I honestly am not trying to promote people running red lights! In my LIFE, I do not think I've EVER run a red light. (honestly)
I only mentioned it because I was in a car recently that stopped at a light and all the cameras went CRAZY. Looks like his front bumper breached the cross walk line...(by about a foot) Sure enough, 2 weeks later he's got a $380 ticket in the mail.

Careful, I bite!
Damn Razz, chill out!
I just recently got a red light ticket. The yellow length was below the state minimum (which is below the Federal minimum guidelines by the NTHSA). That means I was going an appropriate speed but was unable to stop in time by the LAWS OF PHYSICS - they didn't allow enough time to stop before changing to red. You're gonna take me out to the shed for that???
How about you rail against the government that implement these, when numerous studies have shown an increase in rear-end accidents caused by people unsafely slamming on their brakes at these intersections?
People who run a red light are a problem, but these red light cameras aren't the solution. There is no proof they solve any safety issues, the only documentable "positive" result of these cameras is an increase in $$$ flow for the city. There are too many laws & regulations already, I have no problem with the idea of someone implementing a non-violent method of fighting these red light cameras.
