lets see its hands down the best looking car under 30k and the best looking vert under 35k
and if you are going to put comparisons between the z and rx8 you need a head check...there is no comparison...the z is the TOTAL package...
real sports cars only have 2 seats....yea the 8 goes around a track well.....thats because it doesnt have enough power to push it to its limits......but the z does around the track just as well and then pulls even harder on the straights.....
you shouldnt even be comparing the 2 cars....
its like comparing a SL500 to a SLK
the 8 is a beginers car and once you learn to drive you step it up to a z

Lol, a little bias? The 8 is much better looking. The Z isn't even as good looking as the Honda. It looks like an EGG. Looks are subjective so I am just poking but the interior of the Nissan like all of them now is awful and there is no sexy lines in the car. Just an egg on roids imo. Enjoy.

probably just hates how much he paid for the z and regrets it. 90 at 3k rpm? what gear? Do you have any idea what you are talking about. Hell they should fire all the editors of all the car magazines that have rated the 8 over the z. Guess they don't know half as much as "ate our... mmmm, lol i'll refrain.

240z
My father had the first year 240Z, I still remember it, delivered first in the state and they didn't even take the plastic wrapping off. Only came in burnt orange. Great car, built with the same theme as the 350Z. If you look though, the 240Z really didn't have that much power. The key here was drivability and my dad explaned that to me. The weenie sold that thing just as I was learning to drive. I had 1st year Miata. Didn't make much power. Set a new standard for drivability. With just a few mods you can practicaly wear that thing. I had 1st year twin turbo, R1 Competition Yellow Mica. Slip that bad boy on and you were fast. The big car then was the 5.0. For months we thought the fords wanted to look at the RX7 after the light went. This drivability thing seems to be a two part thing-you and it. The RX8 is really drivable. Cut that damn DSC off and push it. I just couldn't get that feeling from the Nissan. Drove like a sportscar/truck. OK for the track maybe but here in New Orleans the roads suck and you need a suspension that works by many measures. The way a rotary drives is just so great it's easy to overlook less important stuff.

Last point. Most that bought the 8 could have bought the Z. Your insecurity vs appreciation for cars in general is very telling. I always get a kick out of the my car can do this crowd. You did nothing to make it do what it does but buy it. I am happy with my decision as are the other 8 owners and not liking the Z enough to buy it is no reason for you to come in and defend it. I have a feeling most won't be trading in their 8s for the Z so your not enlightening anyone.

6th gear....90 mph at 3k rpm....6600 rpm redline...yea i have plenty of idea what im talking about....question is DO YOU....oh and the z/g car was given car of the year....was the 8?NOPE

actually bought the 8 cause i thought the suicide doors were cool if you must know....i liked the comercial with the car hugging the guy back when he hugged it...bought it for my wife.....i then turned around and traded it for a brickyard enthusist model which got totaled when i hit a dear in it and lost control....so i then got another one (black preformance model 6 spd.)like i said the 8 was ok...but feminine and lacking power....but for someone to say that thing is goodlooking is a little over board....the front humped fenders got played out with the 70s model corvettes

never once called it the super z....just more for the money than what you get from mazda.....as a matter of fact...NO MANUFACTURER makes a better car for UNDER 30 grand...

not calling it the perfect car either...just the best thing out there for under 30k.....there are things i dont like about it....if your over 6'1" it is to confined...visibility out the back window sucks...and the door panels could have been made out of something nicer....but to keep it under 30k you gotta give up a little

pretty goodim not saying bs....im just saying the 72 240z came in yellow also.....if you look at any old posters of the 240 you will see the most common one is a yellow...
with the 240 it was you get what they sell you...it wasnt no i want this or that...you basicly had to take what they had since they were imported and dealers only got a few a year
