skyline spotted!

the 350GT is the top of the line v35, sportiest of the lineup. it has a real trick transmission, a sequential manual-able cvt-ish one w/ programming that simulates 7-speed (!). i think it even has the vq tuned to put out 280ps. it's very impressive. it's interesting that you saw one here; maybe they're considering bringing that model over

Come on people~ I thought everyone already known that V35 = G35, CPV35 = G35C. Further more, there is no such thing as R35, at least not yet. The next gen GT-R chasis and engine are being tested in JAPAN and the test mule is supposed to have a R34 body with a VQ engine. There are some of rebadged G35 and G35C with NISSAN SKYLINE 350GT logo on the back.
Now if you really want to know whether it's a Skyline V35 or a rebadged Infiniti G35 - check where the driver seat is located. RHD = Skyline, LHD = Infiniti. There is no such thing as LHD Skylines and vice versa.
Not that I don't believe what you are saying, because what you saw might very well be a 350GT-8 *8 speed CVT tranny.*
