Shop pricing
Long long time since I've been on here due to my motor being done for. I finally have some money saved up and was wondering how much I can expect a shop to charge me to install a new motor for me. I plan on buying the motor and them install. Or if anyone on here might do it and show me what's going on. I live in calera Alabama. Thanks.

you will have to call around for pricing as every area is different. make sure its a shop you trust. if its a used motor make sure you get a comp test first.

Release the twins.
You have me, and Dale cCark in Pensacola. I don't own a rotary-specific shop, we do pretty much any make and model and level of labor. I personally have about 20 rebuilds under my belt. i charge 1000 to remove and re-install, and 1200 for the rebuild( including new oem apex seals/springs, and other seals required for a rebuild. bearings/labor extra, and are on a as need basis. if you need new rotor housings or rotors, they are extra also. looking at about a 2 week turn around, and it comes with a 2 year 24k mile warranty. you'll have to pm Dale Clark for his prices, but i was sure there is someone in bham that can rebuilt it for you. how much of this are you doing yourself?

I haven't looked around yet honestly. But I would rather have someone experienced in the rotary field like yourself do it. And I've nvr taken on a task like this so I most likely would be doing no work on it my self I plan on doing all of this in a little over 2 weeks from now. I might take you up on ur shop though.

Release the twins.
used housing if within spec.
Goopy housing resurface( $200 plus shipping cost)
New housings (1100)
Housing condition is something that is subjective to each particular builder. let me know. i could arrange for transport.

I just sent you a PM..
If you need reference of my builder, there is a guy in ATL, who got my builder to build his renesis with awesome result. I consider my guy to be one of the best in the country... and he's in Alabama
