Shifting without the clutch?

while we're on the topic, do i need to actually use by shift **** to change gears? or the steering wheel to turn? personally, i dont like to use the brakes to stop... lol...

use your clutch bro... if you have rev-matching down to a science then you can always just pop the clutch in and out without paying much attention... but good luck with that

I think the 8 doesn't have a reverse syncro, does that mean that I can shift from 1st into reverse without touching the clutch then? I think I want to try it.

Upshifting would be slower.
Double clutching would be advantageous for downshifting.

Its not the best thing for the trany. if you want to you can do it. There my not be any problem later on, but it usually does mess up the snyc, as well as mess up the clutch at times. Dropping it into neutral is worse then moveing from neutral into gear.
