It is boosted......but I've seen LS2 forums of comparably boosted engines not making 505rwhp at 9psi. The modular engine loves FI more than most. I'm not saying the LS2 is a bad engine or not capable of big hp.....but too many people think it's far superior to the Ford mod engines and it's not. I've seen plenty of LS2's getting 500 rwhp with extensive boosting and modification to the heads....it's definitely not hard to do.
My comment was just to show that Ford mod engines can hang with any GM lump.
