This is really cool aside from the actual vid of the Scion reveal with VP Jack Hollis, because Greddy's Kenji Sumino then shows it's 1st tune, lowered, brakes, exhaust, tires, etc. (but doesn't give any numbers), and this is a real eye opener ... Gran Turismo discusses direct import of your track session for game replay!

Wait? The Scion has an internal data recorder stock? Wooaaah! Something seems to be happening here... and it all sounds good.

Toyota is really pushing aftermarket mods and taking the car to the track. It will be interesting to see how the dealerships and Toyota handle warranty claims.

 

Well the good news is Toyota is trying to encourage 'taking it to the track' as a vaccine against just that never happening

Certainly better there and on the couch, than on the street. Auto clubs accross the nation will be thanking Toyota/Subaru for the extra attendance fees.

 

For some reason, I can't help but laugh at the comment early on: "It's not a muscle car, it's a performance sports car." I keep imagining guys in a board meeting discussing this... "So let me get this straight... it's not a muscle car?" It's kind of sad that they feel the need to make that clarification for us.

Looking forward to seeing how these turn out. The greddy car makes it clear that it has potential to be a good looking car.
