Looks way better. It's amazing what rims and a drop can do for the looks of a car

I like the looks of it... But that shifter is the worst!

the scion production version is almost identical to BRZ...

You are so spot on. Peps elsewhere are saying "ohhhhh... what a beautiful interior" (except for the (even) lower rent Scion version), but holy sassafrat, compared to the '04-'12 RX-8 interior...?

Well there is no comparison that uses nice words. The RX-8 is sexy sophistication, well executed, w/piano black adding just enough touch oif class/luxury wo/being accused of too much and not befitting a sports car. Something you sit in and say, "This is the way a sports car should be!" You actually want to touch the interior bits, rather that just stare agast that Toyota would bring back the 90's retro Toyota interior style

Maybe it's this it should be compared to (depending on the final price tag...)



...but even then.... although it is far closer to the GT-86/BRZ than the RX-8.

 

I don't see the RX-8...
