yeah you gotta wonder why its only automatic if they are aiming it towards enthusiasts and "driving excitement".

G8 potential? APS twin turbo setup for G8 GT and Holden Commodore HSV
This Holden is sick looking. Pontiac should have just tacked their badge straight on to it for the GXP version. I love the looks of the Holden front end. I would attempt to import the front clip from this car if I got a Pontiac G8.

I agree. All the reviews I have read have been positive. Not sure what to make of rental fleets getting these cars since GM was suppose to be only importing a set number of cars. My guess would have been retail only. Also because I thought GM was losing money on each one sent over here.
Regardless, I will be curious how the car sells. My guess is people will hear V8/rear drive and shy away from it when in reality, mileage figures are not far off from the V6.
