Ok, the plan with the AWD is to build a wet sump chain drive with posi in the front. Since were going to use a contained chain settup, probly 2 to the front and 2 to the rear, the chains can be in a bath of oil keeping them from wearing out or stretching from heat and lack of lube. I cant tell you what its going to do since ive never even herd of a machine like it. I can only imagine.

thats the carzyist thing ive ever heard.. if you make one awd i take it will be a different frame ect?

if so it mite be easyer to use a normal awd tranny and just figure out how to hook up the rears.

Well, not exactly, the frame design is stiff enough to handle the drive train if we are to try it. The position of the CVs and diff would be directly infront of the rack in a sheilded area under your legs. As for the tranny, it already is settup with a 2 chain wet sump systen, im sure it wouldnt be hard to add an extra 2 sprockets. If I run a normal car tranny im looking at a weight increase. If I run the chains it might be 50 to 75 pound increase. Ive already designed the diff, its crazy simple, ive built them in small scale. Kinda the same way they build ball diffs in RC cars but bigger and much bigger, the nice thing is it has adjustable slipage so you dont get 1 wheel spin.

Ok, just got off the phone with Fox racing shox. I just ordered a set of Float shocks, I wanted to go with the X Evolve but those are gona put me over budget. Hey Greg, wana throw up some of those suspension pics I sent ya????

Well, a street leagle one to say the least. I want to keep one thing in everyones mind. Im not out sourcing anything out of the US, the only thing thats from outside the US is the parts to build the engine but thats assembled at Pettit.

Wednesday is the day those bad *** shox are comming in, cant wait. Waiting on the rack, I looked all over the place for a 40" rack but had to get one made.

Wait wait wait, grab the E-brake. Well, it was decided today that im gona pluck the frame out of the garage and move it to Pettit. Im scratching the CBR engine off the list and going strait to the single rotor rennissis. So what you see is getting rotiserized. The time has come, I didnt think it was going to happen to frame #1 but it is.

Yeh, between Frank and I we just started building, if it didnt look rite we re did it. You should see how were going to do the rear swing arm. Im calling Fox up again and incorperating one of those float shocks into the center spine for the rear suspension. I was looking at the suspension on Bills champ car yesterday and noticed how it uses a shock and pivot section to obsorb down force and also act as a sway bar. Trying to figure it into the front suspension through the linkages like on his car.

Got a ?, what would a windshield like the one Cadys had with the night vision cost, what ever came of the tech that went into it and Greg, I no theres that tech available for aviation rite. Tail light switches a thing of the past.
Ok, im at the point were I need to decide how far back to set the rear tire. Cam has a palet of center exaust port single rotor motors assembled. There so small and I can tuck them in so close to your back that I can shave 2 ft. Should I keep her long or shorten it??? If I shorten it id imagine most of the traction would be on the front wheels if it was short and would make it kinda loss yet perdictable but if it was long top speed runs would be more stable. I was basing it off of the CBR settup but this changes it all. The plan is a 305 to 325 size rear tire.

Sorry I didnt pick up the phone last night Moon ,,, I think if you've go a 2' range to play with you should shorten it by 8-10" that's what I think...
as for the night vision windscreens, I have no idea what your talkin about, Mercedes is coming out with a HUDS that projects a window that can see IR and so they built IR capability into the headlights,,, its muy expensioso...

Started to clean up the latest sketch to start coloring tomorrow.
Get a few ready for proposals yaahhhh!!!
Dont worry it will look alot slicker than this,,, for example heres another project I was workin on a while ago,,,
the final sketches of the Street Ray will be more along the lines of this..

i would lean towards a longer rather than shorter one

I like the bottom 2, only give the back a more taperd tear drop shape on the side veiw. If you do that then you can drop the wing and move it more foward. Rember it can even be split wing on each side, you dont have to put it on top, kinda keep the back of the spoiler 6 or so inches in front of the wheel center line and 6 to 12"" above wheel center line. You can even follow the front upper 1/4 of the wheel and blend the taper into it some how.

You now what, also try this, get the lines withought any vents or pannel splits, get it as sleek and slick as you can. Just base the starting vents on the frontal view.

alright thats fine, last week it was the shaded one that was reminiscent of the Furai, before that it was the closed top version, I guess this week its the reverse fanged look,,, I dont mind revisions Moon but all of these are very different concepts,,,

the one 3/4 view above it is the same proportions things always look fatter and taller in in 3/4,
I can assure you that the sketch I posted yesterday is equally low, it all comes down to the design cues, do you want the smiley grill of the Furai or the reversed fanged look of the sketch your reffering too...

With the reverse fang look are you talking lower is further foward?? Can you see if you can move the upper part of the nose foward of the lower and maybe substitute it with a semi round/ sharp look with it tapering more the further back you go to allow a little more space in the front. Were gona need to fit a slightly bigger rad in the front but since its V mounted we dont need that much. Think also smooth lines of an FD, smooth and flowing in the back. I was also looking at the Furai. The way the back is designed is an idea, just shave the rear fender wells/ duct and taper it into the wheel, it looks pretty close to what im thinking.
