Hey, for its time the flying-buttress GT model was a NICE looking car. Certainly it beat up on the MR2, looks-wise.

And it was better than my X1/9. (Well the later ones, anyway.)

I liked the car, all I remember is that it caught on fire one year, literally

I've been meaning to test drive both.

Waiting for the Redline Sky 260HP.

From what I've read if you go for the high hourse power version GM/Saturn it will be better than the Miata hands down.

However a turbo version of the Miata is comming.

So whaere does this leave the 8?

Next to a Volkswagon?

This leaves the '8 exactly where it is NOW... The only car of the bunch that has four seats. The Miata and the Solstice/Sky are too small for me to use as my only car. I'd reckon that the turbo'd GM cars and a turbocharged Miata would also end up in the same price range as the '8.

You're falling into the trap, maaaaan, of judging a car only by the numbers it can make at the dragstrip.
