Talking Hymee's Tapered Exhaust Tips

Wow. First in OZ to get the tapered tips! Unfortunately it is hard to tell on the photo. Tim mentioned that the tapered exhaust tips were more appealing and also he favoured yellow over red.

Sorry - Wildcard was the first with "Tapered Tips". Hymee was second.

These are the original Hymee offering and are a "Long" taper. L&L opted for the "Short" Taper.

They are all tapered, as the connection to the tail pipe is 2.5" and the outlet is 4". The only diference is the length over which the taper happens.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Hymee, I just went back and had a look at Wildcard's tips.....am I to assume that Michael's tips have an overall length shorter than Wildcard's, and sit further forward inside the bumper?

Regards, Gomez.

No no no...

The taper I am talking about is the internal taper. The jig positions the ends of the tip (top edge in this case due to truncation) in the same spot, relative to the car. The only diference possible between mine (and any off the jig) and Wildy's is if we had them sitting a slightly different position. But I think that they are close enough to be called the same, if you check out photos of his compared to mine.

Sorry for the confusion. I need to supply cross section drawings. I did a sketch for L&L to illustrate.

Cheers,
Hymee.
