looking at that aero kit (beastly but utile) i don't think there's any way that car's gonna "lift" at any speed.
it's either driver error, or an irregularity in the road (meaning he hit it, and it's his fault ) that threw the car off the road into that ironically well placed pole... weird. oh wait, is that pole part of that ex-car??

How did it happen? Well 90% of the crashes in that race are due to either cross winds or tire blow, mostly cross winds. They run flat out on the desert roads in an area of random strong gusts of wind, which pushes alot of cars off the road when they are cruising at 200+ mph.
