And Horner disgusts me. Just like Webber said he would.

No, he held his bitterness in, until he left the team. Then he let go.

I always liked Barichello. Thought he was a good guy and decent driver. But of the "Webber,Button,Massa" calibre. Imo he was lucky to have the second seat. He knew the score every time he renegotiated his contract. Don't like it? There's other teams. But he was content being second in a Ferrari and occasionally winning rather than being twelfth in a Jordan. Until he left. If he didn't like it he should have left earlier.

Apparently Mercedes, RedBull and Lotus have illegal underbodies that allow the front wing to flex, increasing downforce.

Word is that the FIA told them to change said parts before China or it would penalize them.
****, since when can you break a rule and just get a warning?

Ecclestone greenlights 2017 F1 race at Lime Rock - Autoweek
In a release received Monday from Lime Rock Park, the track has announced plans to host a Formula One event. The release is as follows:

In a surprise announcement, F1 major domo Bernie Ecclestone told reporters that he's made a deal with Lime Rock Park owner Skip Barber to bring the F1 circus to Connecticut's 1.5-mile, nine-turn road course, starting in 2017. A date has not been set, and the FIA World Council must still approve the expanded schedule, “But that's simply a formality,” Ecclestone said.
Let's see who reads the article

Journalists say FIA 'splitter' story untrue | News | Motorsport.com
Two F1 correspondents have contradicted reports about allegedly illegal 'splitters' aboard the top Red Bull, Lotus and Mercedes cars.

Italian reports had said F1's governing body warned the teams to make changes before China, after scrutineers flagged the too-flexible front floor solutions in Malaysia recently.

But Jennie Gow, the pitlane reporter for British radio BBC, said on Tuesday that she has "spoken to Lotus and Merc who say FIA splitter story is just that -- a story!"

"Both teams passed tests and no changes to make," she added on Twitter.

German correspondent for Auto Motor und Sport, Tobias Gruner, agreed: "Neither Lotus and Mercedes nor Red Bull was asked to change the splitter.

"So everybody calm down!"

Wolff targets young driver test with Williams - GPUpdate.net

What's the point in applying for a young driver's test "seat" if you're 30 yo?
A woman won't last a whole race inside an f1 car nowadays. They should race between them in shorter races.

Feisty Vettel says Webber deserved to lose > F1 News > Grandprix.com
The 'Multi-21' affair stepped up another notch on Thursday, as a feisty Sebastian Vettel withdrew his apology to teammate Mark Webber.

"My apology was for the team, not Mark," the reigning triple world champion was quoted in Shanghai by German media.
"The order came only once, and in a moment where I was distracted. As a driver, you still need to drive," he said.

Radio evidence, however, suggests that Vettel was told several times, in several different ways. Team boss Christian Horner even intervened at one point, calling him "silly".
"The bottom line is that I was racing, I was faster, I passed him, I won," he said.
"He (Webber) didn't deserve it," said Vettel.

At one time during practice, Hamilton and Alonso had the exact same lap time (to the thousandth), while in 2nd and 3rd place.

Vettel is an arrogant little piece of ****. I doubt it will happen but I hope Webber mops the floor with him this season. Along with Alonso, Massa, Hamilton, Button, and Raikonen.

Do you think RB will de-tune his car to allow Webber to finish better than Vettel? Vettel did only end up in 10th place in P2.
