If you can, also watch the 'Celebrity Race" in Melbourne with the all new Mazda 6's racing...I think there are about 12 or so running.

“The new engines are not going to be silent…”

Ecclestone aware charges could end reign
One more:
Force India in talks for Ferrari power
I spoke recently to the FIA’s F1 Race Director, Charlie Whiting. What does he think about the new engine regs for 2014? And what, indeed, does he think about the F1 life?
I find Charlie Whiting in his second home – in the office at any given Race Control building in any given F1 track of the world that bears the title, “Race Director”. We happen, on this occasion, to be in Austin, Texas, where the new Hermann Tilke-finished Circuit of Americas is undergoing its baptism by fire. And this is about the only time of the weekend when Charlie has a moment or two in which to chat. It is the lull after qualifying on Saturday. The F1 cars are in Parc Ferme conditions (under wraps in the team garages). And, baring the odd technical political or technical crisis or two (or three), Charlie can relax just a little, exhale some air and think about…the racing life.

Ecclestone aware charges could end reign
Bernie Ecclestone admits he is likely to be replaced as Formula One chief executive if he is charged over the Gerhard Gribkowsky bribery case.

As it turns out.. it was McLaren's choice not to retain hammy... Alfy's gonna love it: We could have kept Hamilton, says Dennis - GPUpdate.net
Although I root for Lewis success all the time, he must be a handful to deal with (All the hip-hop nonsense and distractions although he seemed very focused through most of last year).
I'm hoping Mercedes can do something strong. We'll see as it almost impossible to overcome the Newey hand.

Lol.
I like how an engine sounds mostly because i can relate that sound to emotions. Fear, blissfulness, whatever.
The sound of a race engine fills you, envelopes you.
We were made to drive gasoline or fuel engines, a couple of hipsters won't stop me. When there will be no petrol left in this world i'll switch to vodka, rum and and any other form of alcohol known to man but my engines will still roar, not buzz.

As for Ron Dennis.... He's just trying to save face. No way in hell would they say to Hamilton to leave in favor of Perez. McLaren is going to have a crap season with Button unless they make an unbeatable car.

There is definitely a connection between man and the internal combustion engine.

What does an hydrogen engine sound like?? Unless they develop cars that can go a 1000 miles on a charge that'll be the future. Hybrids work because they can go as far as gas powered cars. Fully electric is a step back. 150 miles than a 10 hour charge?? Hydrogen refills just like gas. And the by product is water coming out the tailpipe.

Just feed the drivers burritos and let the cars run on methane. Self fuelled, 0 risk of explosion...
The only downside might be that some drivers could enjoy the feeling of the feeding tubes while accelerating.
