I only report what is in the press that I see as somewhat significant. They report what they find is significant and, in this case, what is the present trend of thinking.

And we express our opinions to discuss the matters, right?
Well, that's my opinion!

I enjoyed the race and as always happy to see a Brit on top. Alonzo was lucky the car was not a few inches close to his face.
All in all a good race, I was also disappointed with Schumacher's finish I would have loved to see him on the podium and he had such a good start.

The report on him was he lost 6th gear at the end of the race. After his last tire stop.

I was not giving an opinion. Nor was I attempting to diminish yours.

I didn't care for this race too much. I wanted to see Alonso and Hamilton go to work. Button had an easy victory because of the crash and the fact everyone behind him were fighting for position therefore allowing him to easily get away. The call from Mercedes to go to plan B came way too late. I disagree with the notion that Massa is back. If it would have been a normal race he would have barely made top ten again. Vettel drove very good I have to say. Grosjean and Maldonado should just get demoted to gp 2. I was sad for sauber as I wanted to see what they would accomplish. Best part for me was the battle between kimi and schumi.

The truth between Button and Hamilton

Lewis was not in a comfortable, relaxed state of mind for this Grand Prix. The main reason I suspect relates to the passing of his aunt only days prior. Unfortunately he handled it in an immature fashion, passing blame to some extent on the team (He shared that blame) regarding the rear wing choice but in fact we can clearly see that the wing was only part of the issue.

I fail to see the need or advantage to hanging out with hip hop stars either. These are the people he is drawn toward apparently.

Here is the proper qualifying lap comparison:

...I'm a big Hamilton fan, but I gotta call it like I see it.....he's being a little bitch!! It's inexcusable to divulge the telemetry like that. I would think if Ron was still in charge, he would have bitch slapped Hamilton for doing that. Besides, yeah Button may have had an advantage on the straights, but Ham's wing was supposed to have better downforce in the corners...so you would think it would be a wash between the 2.

...and as far as hanging with the hip hop crowd, pffffttttt...he's probably just trying to keep tabs on his girlfriend, hahahahahahah

Ron Dennis and Anthony Hamilton led him and nurtured him and he needs a bit more of that or similar people around him I think. When he fired his dad and got the US media company managing him was when it all went downhill. He was so unfocused. When he is on, he is on. Practically unstoppable.

HAMILTON to move?

They are suggesting it is already done with Lewis to go to Mercedes. I was not expecting this. He could have partnered with Kimi and displaced Grosjean.

Yeah, I read that...and Aln....man I don't know, once they roll out the new V6s, I would think being with a works team would be the way to go. Now, do I think this could all be hype to bolster Hamilton's position in the contract negotiations...oh absolutely!! BUT, it also wouldn't surprise me if Hamilton decided to leave McLaren because he felt he was being treated unfairly.

And yeah Paul, when he split from his dad...his results started going down hill, he'd be better off getting back together with his dad. It always seemed a kind of special to me, probably more so now because I have a son, to see Ham's mom, dad and brother all rooting for him in the garage!! Like it was a family business...now, it's all business, which in my opinion could be part of his problem.

Hamilton is too immature not to have a figure to look at.
That's why Nando is better.

LOL....are you talking about chicks or money, hahahahahahahah
But seriously though, Nando looks very closely at the figures too....he's the highest paid driver in the field....even more than MS!!! I was talking about the race with a fellow 8er and it seems to me that Hamilton's strength lies in the fact that he won't back off and goes for the gap every time....it's a strength, but also a great weakness. A lot of the accidents he's been involved in this year could "possibly" been avoided had he lifted and gave it a shot a little further down the road. The accident with RoGro was clearly RoGro's fault, but Ham could have also realized this bozo was going to hit him and moved further into the grass. Now, the grass was wet and could have caused a bigger wreck...but in the scheme of things, it was certain he was going to be taken out, it's a possibility he could wipe out in the grass....maturity should have told him to move over further in the grass and protest later...if he survived it.

I think this could be summed up by WWSD (What Would Senna Do)? Senna would have wrecked rather than give way. Who trusts the Stewards to do the right thing anyway.

Hamilton to Merc rumours denied
Lewis Hamilton is not on his way to Mercedes next season according to both his McLaren team and his management company.
Hamilton's future has been the topic of much speculation of late, although many believed it was only a matter of time before he re-signed with McLaren.
This, though, was thrown into doubt last Sunday when Bernie Ecclestone may have unintentionally broken the news of Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher's retirement.

D'Ambrosio to replace Grosjean at Italian GP
Belgian Jerome D’Ambrosio has been officially confirmed to race at this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The Lotus F1 reserve driver will take over from Romain Grosjean, who was handed a one-race ban at Belgium after causing a major collision by aggressive driving at the start of the Belgian GP.

D'Ambrosio's last action in an F1 car was his participation in several pre-season tests for the team. This time it will however be a one-time event, as Grosjean is scheduled to race again at the Singapore Grand Prix when his race ban has expired.

ALN.....that has got to be the BEST acronym EVER!!! I don't have any stickers on my car, but if I EVER see one that says WWSD...I would put it on my car in a heartbeat!!! That's friggin awesome, hahahahahhahaha

...and you're right about the stewards..did you see where they admitted that they should have fined Schumacher for the speeding in the pit lane...I think it was Hungary, rather than giving him a grid place penalty. Something about the race hadn't officially started, so it should have been a monetary fine, rather than grid place penalty...what a damn joke

BSE....Yeah, I saw that about Zanardi...inspiring!!! I was watching the race when he had that big accident that cost him his legs....sad day. He was a hell of a talent back in the cart days, I really thought he would do well when he went to F1. Did you ever see "the pass" he put on Bryan Herta at Leguna Secca....you gotta u-tube it...amazing!!!

Hamilton is a diva and a spoiled brat. Always has been. But, I love his driving style. Moving further onto the grass wasn't possible because wet grass + hairpin coming up = same exact crash with having no brakes whatsoever. And besides that, he shouldn't have to. Grosjean should have given him enough width of the track but that idiot drives with tunnel vision. He won't be in formula one long.

GOT IT...thanks man. I have a friend that does graphics and stuff...I'm going to see if he could make me one and put Senna's helmet in the background. I'll post it up once I get it together. I thought about putting what would senna do at the bottom of the sticker, but I think that would be too easy, anyone who's into F1 knows Senna's helmet, so they could totally figure it out....this is gonna be cool
