They just interviewed nando and woah!
He said that this championship is pretty hard and that, no matter the outcome, this was his best year career wise.
Then he just briefly talked about the drivers, saying that both button and hamilton are a menace because they know what fighting for a championship means and they won't be as pressed as vettel or webber may be. He also added that Webber is up top because he deserved it by putting together a great championship and that it will be difficult to win over him.
How come nando moved from bashing and crying to saying the kind of things?

Dont forget to add 50 points to Vettel due to technical failures causing point loss or even a DNF when he had the first position and easily would have won that race. Seriously Vettel dominated the early races but due to technical issues, one or another he came out below.

I find Vettel has been struggling hard all year to make up for that and has been doing great drives. He has done some mistakes due to immaturity and he is passionate showing his feelings. I know some of you find that he has no class and is a brat, but I see someone who really wants to win and is burning with adrenaline and so into the fight.

I am hoping Vettel takes #1 this year. That would show the others that despite his bad luck he has the raw speed and determination to make up for it.

He maybe grew up? Maybe he is turning out to be a nice guy? Naaaah....

I don't like the way he has been treating Massa this year but I suppose it is an eat or get eaten environment at Ferrari.

Outside of his stupid FIA manipulation outburst earlier this season that sounds like the same exact Fernando Alonso that has been interviewed the past year or two?

Pos No Driver Team Time/Retired Gap Laps
1 6 Mark Webber RBR-Renault 1:37.942 23
2 8 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 1:38.132 0.190 30
3 2 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:38.279 0.337 29
4 11 Robert Kubica Renault 1:38.718 0.776 29
5 1 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 1:38.726 0.784 19
6 7 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:38.820 0.878 32
7 5 Sebastian Vettel RBR-Renault 1:39.204 1.262 22

Ferrari clearly did a lot of laps, it is nice to see kubica up there. If the guy had a real car he would be competing for the title.
Even if starting 2nd or maybe 3rd Alonso could take the lead in the first tight turn by using the car's potential. Redbulls are underpowered and in that Monza-like turn power is everything, especially on lap 1 when you're approaching it at a not-so-mad speed.

Let's see how practice 3 turns out. Only there Ferrari usually starts focusing on qualifyin times

I'm predicting that Hamilton and Alonso will lead the way around this track. Whoever is first between the two of them... *shrugs* no idea.

I also expect Vettel to bounce back and challenge Webber. The fact that he is 1.2 seconds behind indicates that he was not trying for a hot lap this session.

But something tells me RB will be challenged by 1 red and 1 silver car. Button and Massa will likely play backmakers of the front runners. Is that even correct to say?

He took the brown acid.
"To get back to the warning that I received. You may take it with however many grains of salt that you wish. That the brown acid that is circulating around us isn't too good. It is suggested that you stay away from that.

My prognostication *:

1st : Vet
2nd: Zo
3rd: Web
4th: Ham

* If Seb doesn't spear anything/anybody; if Fernando has no mech. failure; if Webber doesn't DNF

Anyone else, before pre-race?

I really feel sorry for Vettel. He did everything right and his engine failed on him again. Add an additional 25 p lost due to technical problems on Vettels account.

Webber in contrast handles his car failures personally, not leaving it to chance like Vettel

Big grats to Alonso and Hamilton who really proved that they could handle the weather. (Yes Vettel could handle it too, but his engine couldn't)

After races like this, just for a couple of seconds, I wonder if Ferrari has a chance at the Manufactures Championship. But, I think they are just too far back. Massa hasn't scored enough points to help them out. I don't think McLaren has a shot either. it is still RB's to lose. As is the Drivers Championship, Alonso's to lose.
RB's misfortune certainly changed things.
