I was quite sorry to see Hamilton crash out but hey, it's all part of the game. It was reminiscent of his attempted pass of Massa but the role was reversed. Massa closed the door on him and he lost (Broken suspension). He closed the door on Webber and yet he lost again. If Lewis wasn't penalized in the Massa incident then Webber shouldn't be either. I think Webber took a big risk there and it paid off. They could have been both out of the race.

Paul.

Formula One: Lotus reclaims name from Fernandes in 2011

Group Lotus has launched an all-out attack on Formula One team boss Tony Fernandes and claims he has no right to use the Team Lotus name in 2011.

Fernandes had a licence from Group Lotus to use the name in 2010 but that was withdrawn by new boss Dany Bahar, who has F1 ambitions of his own. Fernandes says has now bought the Team Lotus name from David Hunt, but Group Lotus claims it has the rights to that name.

Nothing tarnishes a name like decoupling it from the people and company that made it great. Thinkpad anyone?

F1 teams concerned about Korea GP fate

Two of F1's leading team bosses have admitted they, like F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone, have concerns about the forthcoming Korean Grand Prix.

On paper, there are four races left to run on the 2010 calendar, but real concerns that the new Yeongam circuit will not be ready to host its inaugural race on October 24.

The FIA rules require new tracks to pass a final inspection three months before their first race. But the governing body and Ecclestone have allowed Korea to delay its inspection until October 11 -- when air fares and hotels will be booked, and much of F1's freight en route to the east Asian nation.

I must say that Alonso drover well this past race, but as long webber or hamilto is in the lead for championship then i am happy . But it looks like Alonso is going to be champ again

what would comfor me is ALonso having a engine swap that would place him back int he line. Or having no engines left for the rest of the season

I don't think they feel they need a new engine. They could go back to one of the older 2010 engines that isn't quite used up.

Alonso isn't bad in Japan or Brazil. He was terrible in Abu Dhabi but I think Ferrari-itis was in full force then. Korea is a wild card for all of the teams.

Something Alfy should like is the fact that the Spa engine and Monza engines are the ones Ferrari are going to use for the remaining races. Those tracks are pretty hard on engines!

I really, really want Alonso to take this title. It'd be a total double rainbow moment for me I think.

Ferrari is pretty confident the engines will be fine. They said the practice engine Alonso has been using has over 2,500km on it and it hasn't skipped a beat.

What do you think this is, a box of ceral. This isn’t me Lucky Charms, this is serious business. If Alonso wins the title, it will be the end of the world as we know it . Think Dec 21 2012, but like 100 times worse than that. I don’t know about you, but I want to live past 34. We must do whatever we can to make sure Alonso does not win.
