With the intermittent rain during qualifying, the grid positions may not be indicative of their true potential.

You're lucky that I can't make it to Texas in time for the race... even if I started swimming from Ostia right now.
I would have brought Chuck Norris with me to punish you.

Lewis is in excellent position for tomorrow. Barring tragedy, he will podium. With good team strategy, weather and tire choices etc, Red Bull should be concerned.

Paul.

Poll (make that Pole) for Webber...Looks like this 2010 Championship is His to lose.

Definitely a weather driven qualifying session. I think it's tough to say who really is fastest on this track. I think the winner will be whomever's strategy fits the weather during the race. It's really going to be anyone's race tomorrow.

I agree with you, also Lewis isn't no slouch when it comes to starts.

Or win. I have to give you that Webber continues to do flawless performances compared to Vettel. His sector 2 times were awesome during the qualifier. I think he had 2 tenths on Vettel there but I am not certain if that was a temporary thing just when I compared them.

Anyway, big kudos to Webber for taking pole in a very difficult qualifier. Now I look forward to see how he deals with Hamilton during the first lap.

Kubica and Vettel on second row will also add some spice to it. Hamilton and Vettel are both on the dirty side. Does Aln or anyone else know how much drawback the dirty side is when it has rained this much? I would believe that both sides are pretty equal since not too much rubber has been put down. Most is washed away.

Which is cool too because driver influence counts more too then. Button had a few good calls in the beginning of the season and won just because of seasoned gut-feeling.

Oh and the weather seems to equalize the cars too that the individual driver skill also comes out more.

Red Bull leads the constructors. It was probably team order that Vettel should eliminate Button to limit the points for McLaren

And after this performance I must say that Vettel will not win the championship.

Please don't say this bullshit
He spun because his tyres couldn't hold up with all the tears he was crying. Do you really believe it was rain? He was crying a river and spun on his own tears!
His team radio surely call his mother's number. Moooom they won't let me play with the big boys up there! Call their parents!

Good race for Hamilton anyway, he was lucky. Webber did nothing special. Vettel still does too many mistakes but is a good driver. It wasn't his fault but he takes too many risks on a wet track. His dad should spank him more so that he can grow up.
Kubica was amazing, Massa mediocre but still got us some points.
Alonso did a good race that ended because of a stupid mistake. Barrichello has no fault over the previous accident.
Schumacher is still the rain master, very smart person when it comes to strategies. Rosber pwnd him though, that was fun to watch!
McLaughing and Ferrari fans really have to pray that Mercedes doesn't have a competitive car next year or we would all have a common cause to fight!

There's also another rain theory:
God, of course a ferrari fan, tried to help Nando by letting all the little angels cry. Too bad that it ended up killing his race. That's why he started crying as well for his second mistake (the first one being Mosley's birth) and the rain got heavier.
How does this theory sound?

Time to get serious though:
alfy and I should really put up some bet. If Hamilton wins the championship i will let him do a photochop against me .

Next day, I still can not stop Laughing, Vettels impetuousness is an embarrassment to Red Bull and Formula 1, let alone what other F1 drivers think.

It may have been his mistake, but it was a racing mistake. I don't think it warranted a penalty. In racing, **** happens.
