What happened to all the F1 babes? Before I started really following F1 all I really knew about it was that there were good looking women dressed up in sexy outfits everywhere.

 

The babes are just distractions. Lets focus on the racing, double diffusor, blown diffusor, flixble front wing, F-duct and all the other lovely gizmos this sport brings to the world!

Further, not too long back Sutton had some pretty darn risque' photos, but over the past couple years it seems those pics have been toned down considerably. Further, I just don't think they put that much money into the "chicks" anymore. Jordan and BAR were really big on eye candy with their cars. I agree, you don't see it as much as you used to.

 

There isn't much happening in the F1 world with the August shutdown. The babes are a way to keep things going on here a little.
In case you didn't here. F1 is going to use a different method to test the deflection of the front wing at Spa. Red Bull says it won't make any difference. They don't plan on making any changes. No word from Ferrari.

André Maes, the Director of Spa Grand Prix, is worried about the future of the Belgian Grand Prix. The organisers are hoping to extend the contract for the race at the historic Spa-Francorchamps venue beyond 2012, but are aware of the immense interest of other countries to host their own F1 race.
André Maes said to the Belgian newspapers: "There is no lack of candidates to host a F1 race. Even France lost its Grand Prix, so Belgium will have to be very careful and apply for a contract extension before 2012."

yah i think spa is going to be a mcarlen track due to less down force needed. at least that is what I am hoping for.

 

It's amazing to see all the aero on the Aguri! When you look at the cars now, they look kind of plain (but I guess the appropriate wording would be clean). Yeah, id' love to have that bad boy in my garage!! Imagine showing up somewhere for a track day in that!!!

YO Alfy!!! What's up man!!! Glad to be back, I was on vacation about 2 weeks ago, then when I got back I wound up being laid up for several additional days due to the flu. I'm good now though.

OH, forgot....is there a silver knights division thread??? OH, while I was laid up on the couch I was watching some old F1 that I put on VHS and saw the Fernando/Hamilton commercial, "anything you can do, I can do better" one. I just sat there and thought, "if they only knew how true that commercial is"

 

Things are going great as usual.
Thinking next year I am going to send my application to Aln to be a F1 mod here at rx8club. If interview goes well, there will lots of changes. Starting will be, instead of calling our fine thread “The Official F1 Discussion Thread” I shall change it to the “Official Silver Knights Special Unit Division” I think it just sounds more classier. 2nd change will be that ppl will have to send their post in PM for me to read over and make sure its Silver Knight quality, then I shall post it for them. I believe that it will make this fine thread of ours better. 3rd if anything that I read is positive for the opposing team, it automatically is a 3 day ban.

So what do you think of my changes for 2011 F1 thread, I think it’s a winner to be honest with you. There is no way that Aln will turn me down now.

Well actually its not a elitist attitude, i just feel it would be cleaner to have every post pre read before posting. You have to admit, there wont be any wars between team fans, because they will only be able to post about team Mcarlen. Also if i made my own thread, it wouldnt be special because it wouldnt be stickied, so with your permission, can i get my own thread stickied asap? ty
