In case people were wondering...and not watching.

 

With just a couple laps left, Speed had awesome coverage when all the 8s were up top, before the vette slipped in...great, close up camera views of the 8s all spitting fire in unison, pedal to the metal jockeying for position! Was quite a scene!

 

Last 5 minutes was some of the best racing in a long time.....

Vette had good strategy...they had fresh tires at the end.......Hard to beat when they aren't trying to conserve the tires.

The Mazdas were awesome.....Good to see Dempsey Racing guys on the top of the podium

I want to know why the 07 vette (winning car) didnt get a penalty for hitting the rx8 with around 5 minutes left (# 40 or 41 car)

Great accomplishment, but imagine the fight if the babies at TRG had the stones to not sit on their hands all season.

Listened to the race on the computer while installing Aero flares etc.. on the 8. I was rooting for the #69 to pass the Camaro on the last lap for a podium. But hey Man. Campionship and driver, Team for the sweep!!! Awesome!! Atmosphere at SS is going to be off the charts.

No, Camaro's took 1st & 2nd. The #68 car took 3rd. Mazda took the Manufactures Championship. Speedsource (#69 car) took the Team Championship.

 

oh i c, maybe i should read more on it, i was a bit confused on who actually won.
