As for the 370 spy shots. I'm a big fan. Definitely looks like it'll be an improvement over the Z33.

Looks much better than the 350Z--more Porsche like and doesn't seem to have as big of a goony looking forehead-like buldge. I drove next to a GTR the other day--could spot it up ahead from a distance, its backside being pretty distinctive. It did look rather large and bulky.

Definite improvement in the side profile, which is the main thing I disliked about the 350Z.

Never liked the design. I would suffer with a GT-R though, every time rocketing out of a corner.

Oh my.....

Wow , that actually looks 100% better than the 350Z. The first thing that caught my eye was how the hatch sloped down like the old 240Z.... nice touch Nissan.
The rear 1/4 window is from the 260Z....

I think Nissan is finally getting there act together and is heading in the right direction, design wise that is.... and I like that.

Out of all the Z cars, the 350Z has got to be the most bloated ,ugly Z car that Nissan ever designed IMO.

Side note...like most of you who have seen the GT-R , my first sighting of one was last week when i was on the highway. Its huge, it made my RX-8 looks like a Corolla next to it. Sounded nice as the motor was gearing down, we had to slow up because of traffic.

The interior. I see its got that ugly-*** recessed screen (with nasty vents on each side) just like the '07 and up G35/G37's interior I hate so much. It looks unfinished like that - they should add a cover to make the dash more flush. Plastics look to be the same quality.

Blah! I spit up my soda! LOL!
That interior is nasty.....
I can believe there still using that cheap plastic for interior spec, thats worse than Fords Fischer Price plastic which they use in there vehicles.

Just when i started having faith in Nissan again....

^ lol, fisher-price was the first thing that came to my mind, too. At least the material wrapped around the steering wheel rim looks decent...

for a sec i thought i was the only one that noticed the datsun 240z side windows profile. that was retro done right and definitely hearkens to it's roots.

i like this interior way more than the 350z's. the curves in the interior definitely compliment the exterior curves

the interior does look kinda cheap, and I dont really like what I can see from the new tail lights. I will see when its fully revealed.

However, lets just say the rx8 uses cheap plastic in the interior too, and I dont even want to talk about the fake gauge thats just for show.

In the end, I do think that they are both sports car, so the interior is not that big of a deal.

it still needs to be smaller, but its definitely an improvement

i just dont see why other car manufacturers cant pull it off like porsche does. they have maintained the basic lines of the 911 for 50 years while still making each new generation drop dead sexy (and somehow sexier than the previous.)

nissan is a joke. mazda at least tried, but i dont know anyone that (stock for stock) thinks the rx8 is 1. a natural progression 2. sexier than the fd.

i love my rx8, but the fd is **** sexy.

An improvement for sure. Smaller, lighter and more powerfull? 3 things RX people pine for. Should have no prob putting up Cayman S type numbers with untapped tunability fo sho. As of now, looks as if Nissan done good wit this one.

i like it a lot.

and i HATE how the 350 looks. ****, i hate that car so much.

it seems longer and it looks much more aggressive.

the wheels are a 200% improvement. i think stock 350 wheels are some of the ugliest wheels ever devised. pisssssssssssssss

Same here. Still looks the same to me. Ditto the cheap looking plastics. But if it is to save weight then so be it. The Lotus Elise has some crappy interiors too.
