looks wise, i dislike it very much. i do like how the stock s2k looks, with a spoiler
i dont care for the hard top
i am sure its a monster on the track, but c'mon the stock s2k is allready a monster.
i wonder how much they amped it up

I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that they didn't make it more powerful, or a whole lot lighter, but two seconds a lap is a very significant improvement. Of course, most of that probably comes from the wing (which isn't there for appearances; a properly designed wing can significantly improve lap times).

suspension work can do wonders for a car too, i remember when the Nismo S tune and R tune altimas came out 2 years ago, the S tune was based on the V6 while the R tune was based on the I4, the R tune was much faster. i think it was only 1 or 2 second off the 350Z's laptime.

I agree, of course. But I am disappointed that Honda really hasn't done anything with this car that I couldn't do myself with my car--pull out some weight, beef up the suspension, bolt on a wing, and you have the CR.
What I can't do for a relatively small price is increase the power (keeping it normally aspirated), or significantly reduce weight. I bow to the Honda cynics to the extent that Honda hasn't done anything interesting with this car.

I'm wondering how much these will end up selling for on the showroom floor. Sure $35k<MSRP<$40k but what will dealers actually be getting on them? I love it but the price just might be a bit too high.

This car is just as many of us predicted at the start of thread. Just a hard core track version, stripped of A/C & Stereo for weight savings, with a beefed up suspension, areo parts, but no real power increase.
I'm sure the car is a big step forward on the track, but for the majority of enthusiast drivers out there, it's probably disappointing. The color scheme doesn't get my motor running either. I'll pass and continue to save up for the GT-R.
