New Tires?

I've heard people talking about new tires that won't have air. Here are some pics.

I can't imagine the ride quality or performance sacrificed by this type of design. I would imagine quick braking on the heavy front end of most cars would overload the tires and cause some serious damage to the axle and engine.

Sadly to say,but It just might eventually come to that type of tire someday.

The sidewall would be on production tires, they are left off in these test pictures to show how they work...
