At the track a friends Onstar kept goin off asking him if he was in need of assistance.
Was hilarious listening to him try to explain without really saying what he was doing.

yeah we have been talking about the future obd3 in our auto class with capabilities of the dmv knowing weather your check engine light is on or not and a bunch of other stuff its rather scary

It is conceivable that you could go past a mobile smog checkpoint or a speed/red light camera and they could automatically shutdown your car for the violation. Have too many parking tickets? No more Denver Boot, they will just remotely kill the car where ever it may be. Won't happen huh. How much has happened that was thought it won't happen.
