I believe the new RX7 is comming out on 2006 or 2007.

Well, I got this pic in a chinese magazine. It shows cars preview for 37th Tokyo Auto Show. I'm not sure is it "photochop" or not. Well, we will find out on 10/25.

 

Wait, in that magazine, it says, "The new RX7 is based on the same design blueprint as the RX-01 which debuted in the 95 auto show." May be it is the new RX7. I hope no either, cuz it looks weird.

 

in this picture, my only complaint about the rx8's front design was addressed, the hood center level needed to be below the wheel wells (not even with it from the profile.

That's what I think is missing from the RX8's profile.

 

It looks like they grafted a Corvette chin and mirrors onto that car. Blech!

I don't have it with me at work or a scanner here but the the new Road & Track has a photoshop pic of what they think the new 7 will look like and its not similar to that. Also says that there may be a Mspeed Miata with a rotary engine (has photochop of new Miata also).

 

That thing is weird lookin. BTW it is a photoshop, rear from the rx-01 and headlights from a mazda 6. I hope to god it looks nothing like that when it comes out.

wheels look like they are from the 2002 Spirit R RX7.

it is funny how the 8 finally is here, and now people are looking for the new 7.

Since everyone said it is a photopchop, I guess it is a fake rx7 then. Someone please post a real new rx7, please.

 

As of right now there aren't any offical pictures of the next 7 yet.

The only thing we have are drawings and speculation.

 

...all of which are untrue, amatuerish takes on what the RX-8 design is now, coupled with odds and ends of other sports cars (in this case, a little FD (roof and doors), with a lot of corvette).

i still am a solid believer that if the next RX-7 is to be, it'll at least look like one.
