My Radar Detector...

is kicking *** lately! It's been picking up every cop I see. It works great in NJ and PA so far. I wasn't picking up CT police when I was up there tho so it made me wonder if this thing worked. Its the Escort 8500 by the way. It has def. paid for itself the past few days.

i never pick up cops i see on the road, only if they're parked on the side. i wish so cal cops would leave their radars on all the time. lol....i have the x50.

ya escort passport 8500 x50 is what i have too, they cant pull you over unless they have proof :D

Thats what I noticed with cops in Socal, but when I moved to WA I picked up more POP signals and Ka/K bands with popos over here. When I first had my detector in Cali I was thinking it was defective because it seemed like it would never go off. I got the Beltronics Vector 995.
