the MS6 was neat, but that hood was stupid heavy, and I wish it had a hood scoop for that IC.

The wheels - Mazda screwed up the wheels on the MS6...
Yeah...kind of

How come all the cars are american? less the MS6. It would have been dissapointing if that's all that was picture worthy
Well, there were other cars but only like 1 or 2 other concept cars and they were nothing special about them.

Sorry I didn't take a picture of the Solstice, Z06, and Audi S4 (sweeeeet)...everything else was the type of stuff you find on dealership lots.

Some old cars, an old viper, and an exotic here or there…but nothing we all have not seen before.

Nothing very exciting to be honest...

That robot is badass. Blue C3PO
lol, my little nephew (3 year old) was amazed by it. His eyes where so big and he would look at me and smile. He was a little scared of it but it was so funny watching him stare at it.

If I go to the Miami show (I think my wife has it up to HERE with my car show/car event trips…lol, cause she cant’ come since her baby belly is huge) I’ll do a better job of taking more pictures.

I was given a test drive in one yesterday. I was NOT blown away at all. The inside of the car is fairly boring, My 8 is nicer. The Handling seemed good for a sedan, again the 8 was better and the power was not what I was expecting, it felt more eager at lower revs and pulled a LITTLE stronger up to about 40 or 50mph other than that I think my 8 felt just as strong and at the higher end the 6 falls off and the 8 just keeps pulling. My estimate for 0-60 would be about 5.8 or 5.9 not much more than the 8, 1/4 and 0-100 about the same. I am not saying the car was crap, it is a very nice sedan, but I was a little dissapointed after all the hype from the saleman. To put it in perspective the 350Z and G35 coupe feel quicker and the 8 is almost as quick with better handling and brakes and a more exciting sounding and higher revving engine.

It has twin exhaust pipes in the back (pretty big)
Actually those are just chrome rings on the bumper. If you look closer, you'll see the actual exhaust tips are extremely tiny.

It looks incredibly cheap if you get closer.

I'm a fan of the MPS 6 myself, but the whole rear bumper has to go. And why are they still using a psuedo dual exhaust...the car's heavy enough as is with its 100lb hood, giant wheels, and default unremovable option packages.

With proper rim selection, replacing the hood, and getting rid of the stupid exhaust components and excessive body kit, you could probably drop a few hundred lbs off the car.

Also it should be noted...

The car cuts boost paste 4200 rpm completely if it detects less then 91 octane. It opens the waste gate actuator at 4200 rpm...no boost, nada, zip, zero, nothing.

You basically lose over 100 whp if you run less then 91 octane. Obviously this is causing alot of problems since around 50-60% of mazdaspeed dealers are filling it with 87...

If the car doesn't feel like it has pull past 4200 rpm, its because some idiot put 87 in.

WOW...that was a very CHEAP thing for Mazda to do. Well, for those who buy the car first thing to do is get a new hood (that thing is very heavy) and then get a new exhaust.

Remember, the 6 is not the 8...don't compare it to the RX8. When you compare the MS6 to most of the sadans out on the road...it's MUCH nicer looking and alot more fun to drive (I have not driven one but being a Mazda owner that's what I expect from them).

The interior on the 6 is very nice, not great...but better again than most of the sadan's out there. It's not an 8...it's a 6, and with 274-6 HP it should be a hoot to drive.

With that said...the exhaust looks CHEAPPPPPPP!!!!!

Ya only thing about the hood...the TMIC is in the way. You'll have to convert to a FMIC before you can throw on an Evo style CF hood (and shave 50 lbs off the car).

The TMIC unit is pretty snazzy, car's basically got a front scoop instead of a top mounted one. Its effectiveness at temp is still at question. The speeds of the canadian reviewers vs the hotter ambient aussie owners is quite different...almost a second difference to 60 slower.
