Driving it in first and second, it has no more tourqe than my ford contour (168) And the gears are way too short, they could have made a very fast car if first and second ran out a little more. I didnt really notice any tourque steer at all, I also didnt feel the turbo spool either. I'd take a wrx over a speed3, if we are just talking speed and handling. Interior, the win goes the the 3.

id still pick a wrx over a ms3...something about fwd cars that i dislike..i vowed to never purchase a new fwd car.

what mazda should of done is made the US version of the MS3 awd. why only let JP get awd version. does UK also get the awd version?

There is no MS3 AWD, in Japan or anywhere else.

They have Mazda3 AWD in japan, maybe the japanese would swap the AWD system to the MS3.... wow.. that'd be crazy.

see yah i guess that is why i thougth the ms3 in jp was awd. for a sec i was wondering what kind of good smokes was i smoking that day when i th ought the ms3 was awd

It seems Automobile had a stock Mazdaspeed 3 on the Autobhan and it did 162 mph not 155 like Mazda claims. Wonder what it does with the upgrades.
