Now back to English language. Why do you guys even bother to debate with the original poster? He does not even know the difference between "breaks" and "brakes".

I have heard that some dealers will say that a broken suck isn't under warranty, but if you push hard enough, they will give in and fix it.

Haha

If my breaks were as good as my brakes, I wouldn't bother driving to work.

I did a search on how to brake-in the engine and didn't find anything.

... but when I did a search about the breaks, I ended up here.

Now, could someone tell me how the anti-lock breaking system works?

It works with a tire iron. If you see someone trying to break your locks, you whomp 'em.

I hope you are not talking about brakes that look like this:

My brakes do not rust because I drive mostly in the City. That means I actually use them.

You have been stereotyped! One look at your post count and people would think that you're more likely meaning what you said. Welcome to the club btw :D

This thead is one of the funniest I've seen this year.

my "breaks" are rusty, and squeaky...because the 8 brakes are the best that Ive read, I was thinking about keeping them stock and painting them black. rather than getting a drilled and slotted upgrade. I might just upgrade the calipers. Good brakes, just rusty. Might transfer the money into exhaust.
