Geico is crap and so are most main stream insurance companies. If you search the customer compalints on these companies youll see. With insurance you get what you pay for, I carry everything I own through Amica Mutual. They are the second highest rated insurance company by consumers just behind Chubb. The problem with these companies are they are VERY selective of who they take.

Geico is not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either, plus their claim service was the fastest that I've seen, not even an hour.
Progressive is about 2-300 bucks cheaper, but Im staying with Geico cuz there are too many moron drivers in New York and just in case I have to claim something, Geico will do it fast.
If its 500-600 cheaper per 1/2 year that would be diff story, tho.

I dont know about you but my 8 ROCK!!! again I have driven my different sports and muscle cars, and the 8 is still my favorite. Even with a new rotary engine. I will definitely shop around for better rates here in Florida.
P.S. anyone going to see audi's new R8 on wed. I am.

So the NHSTA does rollover tests & some of the vehicles go up on 2 wheels & they give it 2 or 3 stars.?.?. So, how do you get 1 star? I guess the car has to roll over 4 times, burst into flames & take out a small city. What a BS test. If GM & Ford put just a little more into campaign donations, the test could be declared unsafe & they could make it all go away. What a joke.

I don't know what the hell this guy is talking about. I live down here too and I just renewed my policy last week and the premium did not go up in price at all.
Whatever company you're using...change it.

It's pretty normal for rates on sportier cars to go up after they've been out a few years and companies can find an excuse to bump things. If anything I bet it's from minor accidents being more expensive to fix on the RX-8 than they anticipated.
