Ouch, I hope this doesn't start a "trend" with Mazda... First the RX-8 "thermal recall", now this..

That sucks, but recalls happen a lot. I'm not excusing Mazda, things like these should be sorted out or tested before production. There should be longevity test requirements before cars can be sold here. Something like a 50,000 mile test over a few months to make sure everything is solid. Of course that would totally suck when after 50k something breaks, you need to fix it and do the test all over again. :D

 

2 new recalls for the 6 as well :D glad it's not just us
