Better than having it dropped on you. That happened here not too long ago - poor guy never had a chance.

The dream has died....

I had to pay $225 bucks for a 38mm Tial Wastegate and Flange....... so no longer free.

The part is on it's way. We also put a few miles on the LC yesterday - drive good; turbo makes some serious air - boosts up real nice - good thing we got a narrow RPM engine.

Our fixed oil leak became unfixed - so we will have to patch that up again... all in all a good build so far.

We did get some attention as we drove around base - "that is F*&king fantastic" was my favorite.

Nioce!

So how much boost are you planning on running?

Maybe I missed but where the hell is your downpipe going?

I love the turbo position- that's exactly where I would have put it. The cut out in the hood, priceless.

The log manifold runs from the left side of the block. Then we run it up in a "loop" over to the firewall and up between the block and the firewall - then over to the turbo... so THEN the downpipe will actually be an uppipe - up the side of the A-pillar to the roof and capped with a truck cap if I can find one.

I know how you feel. I'm waiting on my EMU and my turbo is just sitting in the garage. My car is getting angry me because it thinks I'm taunting it

dude just take one of those exhaust flaps (with the spring) that you see on the big trucks and weld one in...that or a turkey thermometer. Anything so we can see some boost now
