Hmmm. OK, I'm thinking now of pontoon outriggers. Make this thing a true amphibian. Paddle tires or a PTO for a screw drive. And you may as well arm it. Can the Navy spare a torpedo?

I'm seeing Pentagon contract possibilities here, Kane...

Off topic: We might be getting some DPV's - I love those things!!! Talk about fun.

Would a pressure regulator from an air compressor be available? Much lower pressure ranges than diving equiptment.

We do have a bunch of air compressors - but they operate from 150 PSI to 5000 PSI. Same kinda deal.

We do have a small AC for tires and stuff - but no junk parts.

Good idea though - I can ask around some other places.

What a day!!!

Well things are moving along nicely now. We have some fitment issues with not having the correct threading and flange pieces for the oil lines - solution? We have a welder and it is free!!!

Here is me welding the oil sending line fitting to the turbo - Hope we don't have to take that off....

Then we had to find an oil outlet to send oil to the turbo - solution; oil filter and 2 pounds of JB Weld... oil changes are going to be a bitch now.

Then we mounted the turbo - and GASP ran it today! This thing sounds mean - and is OMG ridiculous!

If you see this in your rearview - you know it is time to get out of the way!

And yes - that is the final location. Video shortly!

PS. My weld had some seepage so JB weld backed me up!

The story behind this video:

John the videographer was too smart to stand close to the car when I turned it over (). So he is like 20 feet away convinced we are all about to die from impeller shards. I am behind the wheel - then once it is safe he comes closer; and then when he sees the oil seeping from your custom filter / oil send line; he yells "Hold" which is diver slang for the "merde has hit the fan". I kill it and he forgets to shut the camera off - the vid is like 2 minutes long of all the bugs we had first time out; but my net isn't fast enough to load it all. Still sounds cool!

We fixed the leaks and will work on the cold side soon!

Good stuff!!!!! HAHAHAHA

That's simply pimptastic...

Now see if you can attach a snorkel with some pantyhose to prevent large amounts of dirt from getting sucked in...

Paint the snorkel pastel blue or something...heh

We'll be mounting an air filter soon.

And we were going to run the exhaust up the roofline - but I kinda like watching the turbine spin while I am driving.... or I am losing braincells - or both.
