Just got back and of course the #8 is in P30 of 34.

At least the 20B would stay on the track.

What's the issue with the car?

Where are you seeing this ^? IMSA timing and scoring still has them in the pit.

For once can't BK/Mazda use a freakin' race to race rather than act like they're racing when in fact they're testing. It drives me nuts to see such a half-assed program. I can't believe a f_ _kin' cable put them out. Maybe they need some tutelage from Acura.

Well at least if they finish it'll be more track time & "testing" logged to take to round 2.

This is from around the 5th hour into the race

"The Lola-Mazda has made another less than routine stop with attention being paid to most every crevice. There has been a plague of pit fueling violations, particularly among the middle and rearward runners. Many have forgotten to wear gloves while fueling. There?s been a general warning given to the team managers about this."

Maybe someone dropped something in one of the crevices during a stop!!!

When you look at the Mazda's best lap time/speed it is pretty competitive-probably just had a clean lap bec they're so far back.

That Ferrari is toast.

Still in the freakin' pits. No wonder Cosmo went elsewhere. Can't say I blame him.

^^Speedtv.com has some cool on board feeds. Fortunately they don't have a camera on the Mazda..wouldn't be much to see but the pit.

Hate to state the obvious but if they had run a mock 12 hour race like Acura they would've likely found the bugs and wouldn't be in the pits as they are for most of the race.

go Acura!, take the lead and win this thing from Audi. see how they'll whine after a LMP2 wins an overall victory!

From www.dailysportscar.com :
Mazda issues – First long stop was for more throttle issues. Then it went back behind the wall for a problem with an oil line. According to John Doonan, they are treating this like a test session now, having changed springs and settings.

Thanks for link/update. Too bad they couldn't have pulled their finger out of their *** in the off season and done the fking testing then!!

Well it looks like they are back out now. Maybe they can run good for the last 2.5 hours.
