Well it's "Fire the Laser" time in the Automotive industry.
What do all have to say about this.
If this works the way they describe it would mean more fuel efficient engines. Including the Rotary.
Oh and BHR has been working on this for a while now.

I wanted to be the first to make a laser shark joke.

 

This would be particularly cool for the rotary with the huge moving combustion chamber. It'll be like Star Wars inside your fricken engine!!

 

does it use spark plug wires? will this eliminate the need for coils?,

^^ It would eliminate the need for coils but they would still need to draw power from somewhere.
