interesting surprised they just didn't go with an SR20DET

I would like to see 3S-GTE, or a 4G63.

Can't be making much more power than the 13b. Maybe a bit more torque, but pointless.

They def did a good job though. I think if your going to rip the soul of the car out and give it some other car's heart, it should be an ungodly v8.

But a big V-8 kills the weight distribution. Love to see a STi 2.8 stroker swap though with a 9,000 RPM redline.

Umm, the LSx swap is usually not much heavier being that it is an all aluminum block.

the torque would make up for any weight distribution compromises.

Not at the track... and swapping a sportscar for anything other than lap times is a waste of money as it drives fast enough already for street use

To each his own, drifting types may disagree.
That said, I wouldn't be doing any of this to my car.
It's staying a rotary, may not always be a renesis, but a rotary none the less.

Meh, it probably won't matter to them... looks like a hard parker: ROTM July 2012 Winner: Ben@K-Tuned.com

450hp as the current goal, 700hp in the future. I'd like to slam a 320hp race prepped rx7 up their *****. With the whole problematic rotary "motor" inside to properly spin their intestines.
