Just out of curiosity. What year 8 did you have and what was the condition?(mileage etc.) and what did they give you on trade in?

Couldn't find any middle ground, huh?

I'm thinking of trading my 8 in on a Ford Excursion.

Hmm I got rid of my RX8 for an S2k. Maybe I should have gotten a navigator. hehe Glad you enjoyed your time with a sports car. That is certainly a unique trade, but I think trade ins like this are more common then we think. Many RX8 owners are not on this forum. Good luck to ya.

I don't get it. You are not the first person to move from our cute little sports car to a huge lumbering truck. There could not be a bigger contrast in my opinion. So what is it? What criteria do you use to pick your vehicles?

Hey guys...

I also think the Escalade would have been my choice in that category of vehicles, but the navigator is very comfortable.

Not all of us who traded for "trucks" lost our sports car flair. Sometimes, life throws you a curve ball and you have to make changes to accomodate new situations.

I know one thing for sure...I was thankful I had the SUV last night when I bought a 6 ft tall clock/shelf combo from Pier 1.

Good riddance...we don't need you SUV-types around these parts.
