Just out of curiosity. What year 8 did you have and what was the condition?(mileage etc.) and what did they give you on trade in?

G8rboy 03-10-2006 11:52 PM

Enjoy your pimp wagon... and that wonderful Ford "quality"!

RotoRocket 03-11-2006 12:11 AM

Couldn't find any middle ground, huh?

I'm thinking of trading my 8 in on a Ford Excursion.

G8rboy 03-11-2006 12:19 AM

A school bus would be cool, too.

tiggerlee 03-11-2006 12:20 AM

^ a short one of course.

Nice to know you....goodbye :xyxwave:

VikingDJ 03-11-2006 03:32 AM

Hmm I got rid of my RX8 for an S2k. Maybe I should have gotten a navigator. hehe Glad you enjoyed your time with a sports car. That is certainly a unique trade, but I think trade ins like this are more common then we think. Many RX8 owners are not on this forum. Good luck to ya. :)

silvercloud 03-11-2006 06:40 AM

Bi bi ; Please stay out of our fast lane :)

:scratchhe I don't get it. You are not the first person to move from our cute little sports car to a huge lumbering truck. There could not be a bigger contrast in my opinion. So what is it? What criteria do you use to pick your vehicles?

DreRX8 03-11-2006 07:33 AM

Navigator womp womp womp--shoulda got an Escalade.

Mugatu 03-11-2006 07:48 AM

Gohan 03-11-2006 08:40 AM

Bye, Enjoy your navigator

Been thinking.....

....a long time, but still can't come up with the question where the answer is "Lincoln Navigator" :Eyecrazy:

Hey guys...

I also think the Escalade would have been my choice in that category of vehicles, but the navigator is very comfortable.

Not all of us who traded for "trucks" lost our sports car flair. Sometimes, life throws you a curve ball and you have to make changes to accomodate new situations.

I know one thing for sure...I was thankful I had the SUV last night when I bought a 6 ft tall clock/shelf combo from Pier 1.

khtm 03-11-2006 03:03 PM

Good riddance...we don't need you SUV-types around these parts.
