is it me or does the hood look bent? or is it supposed to open from the back? i think i could make a jacket with that boot. lol

He has that hood mod that slightly raises the back end. Supposedly, it helps cool the engine bay. Why is the shifter so long!?

I can only speculate that it is better to shift up high if you keep your hands at the 10 o'clock /2 o'clock positions. I have seen shifters similar to that in rally racing, but never in a car like this....especially with a shift boot like that.

If you read his mods, it says he has a "Ikeya Formula Sequential Gear Shift" i guess it could be a sequential system out of a rally car....they do have this......but why to huge boot?? and why cant it be lower???

its a sequential shifter...they take more force to move so you need a longer lever, but damn, not that long

Quicker to shift from up there. Less bending of the wrist etc. Also keeps your hands closer to the important part of controling the car.

true, but its very ugly, he might as well take the radio out, i dont even think he can control the volume with that bad boy so high.....
