im confused, you bought her a 50K dollar car? and she wont let you do what YOU want?

no offense but If i ever dropped that much money on a car I dont ever get to play with, for a wife/gf whatever That would be my "i get to do whatever I want for a year" ticket.

It's more like $60k and I can buy the Z06, but SEX is more important than the Z06.
She doesnt se 2 drivers having 3 sports cars and 1 family car. She is right.

I am saving that ticket for a cheaper second car like the new RX-7 when it comes out, or I will wait a couple of years and buy the Z06.

To keep the price range somewhat close to the RX-8, I'd maybe get a Volvo S60R - would be a fun winter car.

The FD I already have.

Also will be looking for a sport bike in the next year or so.

I will say that if I didn't have access to a truck at any time I would have/need one of those.

Lotus Exige or Elise
Porsche Cayman S
BMW Z4 coupe M powered

and cars that I probably won't buy just because I won't want to spend that kind of money on a car, but it could happen.

I think the obvious answer would be a 3rd Gen 7.. im sure some of you wanted one over the 8 but needed what comes with a modern car.. ie, more seats, reliablity, waranty etc.. Im a member here because I have 2 friends with 8's and I love the rotary engine, but when i get one for my self eventually, it will be a 7, most likely an FC T2 to being with. Then on to the most envied rotary of all, the FD.

The Kabura isn't supposed to be a next-gen RX-7. It's supposed to be a ~$20k entry level sports coupe. They may take the platform and use it for the RX-7, but I don't think it's going to look a lot like the Kabura.

I gotta agree with you here. I bought the 8 for the practicality ( I have two car seats in the back), fun factor, uniqueness.....but I still get chills when I see an FD on the road. I'd love to have one as a project car and mod the heck out of it. As much as I like my 8, when it comes to sheer performance and style, I'd take the 7

A second car? Gotta be a convertable. MX5 if my money, Elise or Boxter if someone elses. Actually if it's someone elses, I'd take an old E-type convertable, or even better, a Ferrari Daytona so I could play Sonny Crocket/Miami Vice...though, this is kinda pathetic.

If I had a family or saw one in my immediate future I would choose either a Cherokee SRT-8or if I coul afford it then a BMW M5.
If I was single and no signs of family then I would want either a Z3 M coupe, BMW 650i, CTS-V or the new Jaguar XK8

If I could buy absolutely any car I wanted and money was no object I would get a Ferrari F430 Spider in a bright metallic pink with black leather interior with matching pink piping and interior accents.
