Well arolling coverage allows you to report any modifications as you do them, un reported mods are covered but only to a certain amount, and allow for them and any adverse reaction due to them to be covered in your insurance policy. It is more expensive then other insurance policy, I can't tell you exactly what it costs due to the fact that my father owns an insurance company, hence he takes care of my insurance, not a bad deal.

Yesterday I purchased all the materials needed to build the custom box I am building to hold the ZEX system, should be done with it by the end of Thursday night and should be spraying by Friday night. I will put the HF CAT and pulleys on while I run the lines for the nitrous since the car will already be lifted. I will post all the pics by Saturday as long as I don't run into any delays and since the tracks are closed for the winter I can't provide any real numbers, except HP, until the spring, but I will tell you guys how it fells. I'll try to find a track that might be open, I'm up for a drive. For now I am just going to wrap the box in box carpet to match my sub box, but as soon as I decide on who I want to paint it and get on the schedule I will have it body matched, since it is made out of fiberglass.

Well, I decided to paint the custom box to hold the Nitrous bottle rather than wrapping it in carpet, so right now I'm preping it to be painted so it looks like since I'm going out of town tomorrow I won't be spraying until after christmas, I can't wait I'll keep you guys updated.

All I did was mention the car I felt fit the OP's needs the best based on what he said he wanted. He did not specifcally say the car had to be new, so a used Z06 is a completely valid suggestion. The only silly thing here was how much this seemed to bother you.

well guys it's preped and painted, but I left town yesterday afternoon so the rest of the installl eill hav e to wait for win I get back from my vacation. I have to finish shaving down the driver side fender vent to mount the purge light. As soon as I am done I will post a whole thread on the install in the major power upgrades section, but I will keep the updates going on here for the mean time.

First of all, the RX-8 is not a drag car...that is a fact known far and wide. If you bought it for this reason than you made a very big mistake. The WRX STi however isn't a drag car either! So if you plan on running to the strip, get a muscle-car. Try to drag-race a WRX on a regular basis and you will hate your life. The tranny's on those cars cant support it. Its 4WD you know.

Anything can be a drag car to a point, trust me. Nothing comes ready to drag it takes work just with some it takes more work than others. Besides I havea new car to drag I am currently, while continuing my RX-8 build up, building a second gen RX-7 drag car.

Sorry for the delays I have been side tracked by my 2nd gen Turbo II build up. The box needs to be buffed out so I had to wait a week, when that is finished I will run the lines and finish wiring the switches which are already in place and then while I have it up in the air I will install the HF CAT and the pullies and run to the nearest dyno plus my local track should be opening back up next weekend so we can get some times.

Sorry guys spent all night running all over the great state of NC trying to find a place that had any nitrous left and forgot to take the pictures. Apparently because of the odd warm spell we are experiencing here all the tracks opened up on Sunday and had Bracket races and sucked everyone dry of their Nitrous so I couldn't get the bottle filled. I found a store that still has some, I went to them yesterday but they closed in 30 min. and it takes 45 min. to freeze the bottle so they said I had to come back today. So I will run there as soon as I get out of school at 3:30 and get the bottle filled so expect pics around 5:00 due to the drive to the store and back. I can't wait to spray. It looks great under the hood, it looks complicated, which makes it look important, which makes it look cool. The bottle holder is awesome too. Well I have started a new project on my recently purchased 2nd gen Turbo II RX-7, so it has most of my attention now, but expect some time this summer or next fall some type of FI, probally the GReddy kit going on my 8.

Sorry for the delays, after I got the bottle filled we spent all night trying to get the purge and purge light to work at the same time, only one would work either the light or the purge but not both. We finally got it working but it was to dark to take pictures, so as soon as I get out of school at 3:30 I will have pictures. And this weekend the tracks will be open so I will have numbers to post. Anyone in the Dinwiddie, VA area can come look at it in person I will be there for a drift competion at the Dinwiddie Track. The nitrous is definitly a noticable difference. I was getting on a on-ramp got to second gear at about 4 grand, armed the system, matted the peddle. Man that thing pulled, I got up to ninety miles per hour before the end of the on ramp and this is only a half or 75% of the on ramp, it's not even an 1/8 mile. My buddy riding with me said he could feel his legs start to lift, we looked at each other and couldn't stop laughing for the first 2 min., Damn it man!
