2-seater

Same great 50/50 handling

More torque

A bit better fuel efficiency

If Mazda provides a 2-seat 16X in 2012 I'm there. Otherwise a pre-owned Cayman S or Z4M Coupe.

Well since I don’t think I’ll be able to buy the kind of house I want in 3-4 years and I’m just not going to go through all the trouble of selling and moving for something I’m not happy with the list is as follows:

If I do one car (used of course):
Porsche Panamera Turbo
Maserati Granturismo S
BMW M3

If two cars I’ll keep the STI and get (used also):
Audi TTS and mod
Nissan 370Z and twin turbo
Porsche Cayman S

I'll either go in one direction or the complete opposite. Back to american muscle or to something even more rice than my Rx8.

2010 Camaro SS
Another vette C5 or C6

The ricer in me keeps looking for a deal on a Skyline R34.

There really isn't any method to my madness besides these are what I like but I'm considering getting one of these as my next car.

whatever the 16X is in
Toyota FT86 (hopefully a turbo version)
BMW M3
Cadillac CTS-V
Corvette Z06

I like the Evo X so it's kind of on the list!

I'm sure something new will come along soon that catches my eye too but I'll be patient and see what actually is on the horizon.

Right now i cant see myself ever selling the 8. It's already paid off and it's already lost a quarter of it's value over the ~2 years i've owned it. It will end up being a track car and not something i want to drive on a daily basis.

If i do replace my 8 with a daily driver in the next couple of years i'll get something cheap, practical and fun to drive. The plan is to eventually S/C the 8 so i'll have to get a second car for sure. I wouldn't want my second car to break my S/C piggy bank ya know

My picks for cheap, practical and fun cars (listed in order of cheap/cheaper/cheapest):
BMW E36 M3 sedan
Honda Fit
BMW E30 325is

After that, who knows...

Next RX w/ 16x
Pontiac G8 GXP
First gen Acura NSX
997 Porsche Carrera S
C6 Corevette Z06
Maybe an E92 M3... i dont know, i'm kind of in an E92 funk right now

It all depends on how much ^^^ cost when the time comes

The EVO has never appealed to me. And it seems much less a daily driver sorta car than the MS3 and WRX.

After driving an Evo IX MR Special Edition for quite a number of times through NorCal (Bay Area/SF) both on the freeway and local streets and a MS3 in NYC. I can say that the Evo IX is just as capable of being a civilized daily driver if not more daily drivable in the elements as the MS3.

When I look for my next car, I'll probably drive it anyways. I may just fall in love with it. Who knows...

RX-8 fine for me now. Next car not even in consideration yet.
Replacement for "daily driver" though would probably be a Speed3 or WRX.
