Give me your short list for you next car.

I do not drive an RX 8, and wondering what you guys are looking forward to.

I current drive a 08 335i coupe/sports/6mt with two years left on the warranty.

So in two year my thoughts are:

Redesigned RX7/9
Redesigned BMW 1 coupe
Redesigned Miata
New baby boxster
VW Bluesport

I am hoping the RX7/9 does it for me.

In no particular order:

FT-86
STi (if they make a sedan version)
Evo
ND (if there is a coupe)
Whatever car the 16X ends up in

Mustang 5.0

Whatever it is, it's gonna have 6 gears, 3 pedals, and ride quiet as hell. Mustang may or may not qualify, but it's at least a possibility. Mazda can't get the "ride quiet" part right, so there's not much chance of another Mazda for me...

or, flip the script.

Fully Restored SR20DET powered 240ZX or 510.
Fully restored 13BREW powered RX3
or buy a reasonable DD and slap a 13BREW high end setup or possibly a LS swap in the 8.

Yep. That's the one.
Only I'd do it in black and probably improve a few of the features.

Well I plan on keeping the RX8 forever but right now I drive an Infiniti QX as a daily. I drove my cousin's Evo IX MR Special Edition and that **** is awesome. Awesome enough for me to consider an Evo for a daily if I were to get another daily beater.

Used standard Lotus Exige or Elise for replacing the RX-8.

New 4 cyl. Mazda 6 MT to replace my daily beater, 02 standard Lancer.

Just because you have a family doesn't mean you have to drive a soulless mini van.
