I was wondering what that Tesla sedan was going to look like. I read a similar article this morning but only showed a teaser of the rear. It looks really good based on that pic and very original.

Did Mazda release Franz completely from their Design Studio's or is he on loan/hire?
Tesla are not 'motoring' very well, sales/orders have slowed dramatically and there is a question mark over their financial health.
Franz may have his cap in hand looking to go back to Mazda.

The way the world has changed in the last month or less, the Auto manufacturing world is in for another real shock soon too...including Mazda.
IMO it ain't over yet.

The article says his first work is to put finishing touches on that car, which tells me he didn't do it up to the image shown. Lead designers in most professions don't do a lot of base work, they tie things together and lead other designers. No idea if that's how it is at Tesla, but I would assume so
