Point me in the right direction and I'll give Ford a piece of my mind. Even if it is an option that costs more, I was a stick... and we all know that auto transmissions cost more than a stick. So that gives you some idea of how truly serious I am about this. I hate autos. So much that I even hate DSG/SMG tranmissions. If it ain't got 4 on the floor, then it ain't going out the door with me.

BTW... the Fusion's styling isn't all that. I STILL like the Mazda6 better. And WTF has Ford been thinking with yet ANOTHER ugly *** steering wheel... no accounting for taste I suppose.

This is definitely true, but I would blame arrogance as well. The Big 3, mostly GM and Ford though, were on top for so long they assumed it would last forever. I remember when Ford had five of the top ten best selling vehicles in the U.S. They've forgotten how to fight, like the Japanese started doing in the late 70's early 80's. I'm more of a Ford guy than GM, but they're both American companies, and I hope that they can turn this around.
