48mpg, who needs a hybrid?

I hope Mazda brings this car to the US, I think they will have a huge hit on their hands! So when does the Mazdaspeed version come out?

That is 48mpg with the Imperial Gallon.

It only gets 38 MPG per standard gallon.

I see. Also, I'm assuming this is combined city/hwy mileage? Even at "only" 38mpg, it would still be ahead of the Fit, Yaris, and xB.
