My brother actually just got an offer on his 1998 Pearl White 3000GT SL with like 55,000 miles on orignal engine.
It is a sexy car. I park next to it everyday. I love my 8 but I wouldn't have minded that car
my brother twin turboed it for awhile before going back to stock to sell
so it was a SLuTT hahaha

The VR-4 was the first sports car I ever wanted. I had a friend that had both an SL (his) and a VR-4 (his fathers); I would take every opportunity to ride in either one. I was dead-set on getting one when I finally had the money, but then this car came along.

For the price, go with a MS wing...but that's my opinion. 
Either one will interfere with the 'normal' position of your auto-dimming mirror, since incoming light from most cars behind you will put the shadow of your spoiler right over the light sensor on the mirror, and it won't dim. Most of us flip our mirrors upside down to bypass this.

Get the rear aero flares from the appearance package! No spoiler. I like the 8 w/o a spoiler. How about a rear lip spoiler like the 09s have on them?

I understand how you feel. Reminds me of 2006 when I finally let go of my restored and modified 1987 Mitsubishi Starion (former flagship before the 3000 GT).
I was always a fan of the 3000 GT, and almost bought one used a few years back. Gotta love the 90s and the sports cars from that decade. (3000 GT, Supra, Rx7, and 300Z).
