In case you don't know the "other" UK car show has returned last week...

5th Gear... Season 17 Ep 1..

New Ferrari Plus other things...

INCLUDING...yet another "Hot Hatch" Test/Review.

A few years back this was done and they had about 6 Hot Hatches (including the MS3/MPS), they overlook the Mazda 3 MPS Saying it was too much like a "Librarian's" Car!!!...WTF it was and had the most HP out of all of them.

Anyway...back to 2010.

Again this latest Ep they had Just 3, Ford Focus, VW Sirocco, and Renault Megane Sport.

NO MENTION of the New Mazda 3 MPS with Hood Scoop, so it lost it's "librarian looks"...NOTHING...

Like all these car shows they want POWER...well I still think the MS3 is up there as the most or closest in the horsepower area?

SO WHY...WHY AGAIN NO Mazda 3???..

Mazda in the UK are the fastest growing Brand, and the one in most demand as a new car franchise.

Lets us know what you think, I just checked it out in Full, did not think much of the first show to be honest...the Ferrari looks nice.

The "Hot Hatches"...well they ALL loved the Focus...don't you notice that ALL British Motoring shows and reviews LOVE FORD....Renault was the fastest.(where was the Mazda and even Suzuki??)

Then the Renault and Porsche did a fast track chase test, it is almost like they "manufacture the results"...like we can't have a Porsche losing..can we.
Tiff driving the Renault takes a bend on the wide-line, so naturally the squealing bitch (Porsche) is going to take the inside line to get in front, any of these type of races once you take the lead the follower is waiting for driver error to pass, not the performance of the car...it was only a few laps....

The Mini car (s) review thing was lame...Don't know about Johnny..like the Toyota iQ fitted more balloons and was penalized because car is larger (so naturally it would fit (count) more balloons inside the cabin....Derrrr)...

I don't know, disappointed again...with all the new cars released in Europe you think they would make their first show big...no wonder it is losing ratings and almost did not make a Season return.

Will I keep watching...sure...it is cars, cars, cars..

I like Tiff Needell, but 5th Gear is as close to Top Gear as America's Got Talent is close to American Idol, So You Think You can Dance is close to Dancing With The Stars, and the Cleveland Show is close to Family Guy.

This is still wayyyy better than American Top Gear.

Still debating if Vicki Butler-Henderson is good looking... so far, inconclusive.

I can't wait to see this at least once because it is going to suck....USA has an awesome habit of ruining great shows with their own terrible version.

Notice the new eps of Fifth Gear are only half a show or 22 minutes, it is over very fast..

Don't particularly like it..too short...looks cheap like they are out of $$'s.

Well I guess 22 Min's is better than nothing, as this show was not meant to return.

TOP GEAR starts June 27th I think?..

Yeah it is CRAP...watched Ep3 Yesterday, the Mitsubishi MieV was Interesting for an electric POS.
Program is way too short and too uniteresting...this will be it's final year IMO.
