It's an Enzo, and it's not hard to tell at all. I don't know why being a rich itailian with a ferrari would lend any credibility to an arguement, but he's wrong. I think the piece in question is actually the hood, but a broken hood. I think the angle is making it look bigger that it is.

It just looks so bare without that top rear fender. Didn't realize it was that influential on the styling.

Gas cap is in the correct place too.

No, it's not road legal. It's a track only car.

 

So the crash could have been a FXX there wasn't a piece on it that would have had the red stripe showing.
